Spravato
SPRAVATO®, a nasal spray that is believed to work differently than traditional antidepressants. Cycling through medications can be frustrating. If two or more antidepressants haven’t worked for you, ask us about SPRAVATO®.

A different mechanism entirely, which is why it can work when conventional antidepressants have not.
Esketamine acts on the glutamate system rather than on serotonin, and for some patients that difference is the whole point.
Approved and regulated
Spravato is FDA-approved for treatment-resistant depression and can only be given in a certified clinic under supervision.
You administer it, we monitor
You spray the doses yourself under our observation, then stay with us for two hours while blood pressure and alertness are checked.
Always part of a plan
Spravato can be used to replace anti-depressants or work in conjunction with them.
Someone drives you home
You cannot drive for the rest of the day, so arrange a lift or a ride before each visit.

How a visit works
Spravato

Each visit follows the same shape. You arrive, we check your blood pressure, and you self-administer the nasal spray in divided doses while we observe. For the next two hours you rest in a quiet room with monitoring at intervals. Dissociation and a rise in blood pressure are expected during this window and settle before you leave. A clinician reviews how you responded before you go, and the frequency of visits steps down over the course as the response holds.
