Our Integrated Approach

The Wholeness Method

Developed through more than 16 years of caring for children, adolescents, and adults, the Wholeness Method brings together comprehensive assessment, objective insight, multidisciplinary collaboration, and individualized care to understand and treat the whole person.

How it works

Integrated Care, Centered on You

Your care begins with understanding the full picture. We take the time to understand what’s influencing your health and well-being so your treatment can be thoughtful, informed, and uniquely yours.

Comprehensive Assessment

Our assessment goes beyond diagnosis to understand the person experiencing the symptoms. We consider your history, quality of life, lived experience, physical and mental health, brain function, strengths, resilience, and goals to identify a meaningful starting point for care.

Objective Insight

Validated measures, laboratory testing, qEEG brain mapping, and other objective information may be incorporated when they can add meaningful insight to your clinical picture and help guide treatment.

Multidisciplinary Collaboration

Providers across psychiatry, functional medicine, psychotherapy, neuroscience, and brain-based care bring their perspectives together to develop a more complete understanding of your needs.

Personalized Care

Your recommendations are thoughtfully prioritized around your assessment findings, needs, and goals. Care may include prescription, natural, psychological, lifestyle, psychedelic, and brain-based approaches, with the plan refined as you progress.

The Pillars in Detail

Collaboration

Your care is a team effort. Our providers work together to support your mind, body and spirit connection, and the team meets weekly to discuss cases and strategise on the best approach for each patient. We believe collaborative communication enhances optimal care, and we routinely involve additional experts to assist you on the way.

Integrative medicine

Our methodology includes the best of all medical paradigms: naturopathic and functional medicine, traditional psychiatry, and numerous styles of psychotherapy.

Objective testing

Testing helps us understand your unique symptoms. It includes laboratory assessment of how your body functions, and may add testing of nutritional status, food intolerances, hormones or specific biochemical pathways, read alongside everything else in your file rather than in isolation.

Brain Mapping

Another objective tool we use to support psychiatric diagnosis, as well as medication selection, supplement selection and individualized lifestyle support. The latest advances in the technology inform our treatment recommendations.

About Brain Mapping

Innovation

Innovation is our middle name. The founders of the clinic are passionate about incorporating ever-changing information, so our providers can offer the most comprehensive and integrative tools available in a mental-health clinic, including new testing that may improve treatment response.

How a plan is built

Four steps, in this order

The Wholeness Method is our comprehensive assessment methodology. It goes beyond diagnosis by bringing together your symptoms, quality of life, lived experience, strengths, resilience, validated measures, and objective data. These findings help us understand your whole picture, identify a meaningful starting point, and guide individualized treatment.

Beyond Diagnosis

A diagnosis can be useful, but it does not tell your whole story. We explore how symptoms affect your daily life, what you have experienced, what has and has not helped, and the strengths you bring to healing.

A 360-Degree View

The Wholeness Method incorporates objective data alongside your clinical assessment. This includes validated measures and relevant findings from laboratory testing, qEEG brain mapping, and other assessments selected according to your individual needs.

Multiple Clinical Perspectives

Psychiatry, functional medicine, psychotherapy, neuroscience, and brain-based care bring their expertise together to interpret the findings and develop a more complete understanding of your needs.

A Clear Starting Point

Your findings are brought together to clarify where care should begin. From there, your team prioritizes recommendations and develops an individualized treatment plan.

“Dr. Steven Rondeau and the team at Wholeness Center provided exactly the kind of thoughtful, integrative care our family needed. His expertise as a board-certified qEEG specialist combined with his warm, clear communication made a complex evaluation accessible and actionable.”
