Nutritional psychiatry: an emerging field that takes the link between diet and mental health seriously.
A Way of Eating Built Around You
Keto, paleo, vegan, Mediterranean, carnivore. We have heard all the labels. We do not begin with a predetermined diet. We consider your physiology, symptoms, laboratory findings, activity level, food preferences, daily life, and individual needs to create a realistic plan for you.
Foundations for Lasting Health
Lifestyle medicine includes movement that supports healing, sleep that restores, appropriate light exposure, and daily rhythms that work with your real life, not an idealized routine.
Steadier Energy and Mood
We look at meal timing, macronutrient balance, hydration, and blood-sugar patterns to support more consistent energy, concentration, and mood throughout the day.
Nutrient Repletion
When your history, symptoms, or laboratory results suggest a gap, we may focus on nutrients such as iron, vitamin B12, vitamin D, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, minerals, and other nutrients important for brain and body health.
Rest, Resilience, and Joy
Stress management is more than being told to relax. We help you develop practical approaches to mindfulness, rest, restoration, gratitude, joy, relationships, and the experiences that bring meaning to your life.

How a visit works
Nutrition & Lifestyle

No need to list how many changes but rather plan tailored to you that is not overwhelming. Meeting at a frequency that makes sense for you for some it is weekly and others it is monthly or less frequent. Collaborate with your care team for wrap around care.
Your plan may include
- Specific nutritional recommendations, tailored to you rather than to a template
- Testing for deficiencies, food sensitivities and allergies
- Supplementation to correct what testing shows
- Changes to which foods, and to meal timing and routine
What we work on
- Nutrient repletion where labs show a gap: iron, B12, vitamin D, omega-3
- Blood-sugar stability, because mood follows it more than most people expect
- Sleep timing and light exposure
- Movement that is realistic for your week, not an ideal one
- Mindfulness and stress practices, taught rather than prescribed
How we keep it honest
- There is no single diet that is right for everyone.
- We begin with a manageable number of changes rather than an overwhelming list.
- Laboratory findings and nutritional patterns help guide the plan, but recommendations are always interpreted in the context of the whole person.
- Your plan should be realistic, sustainable, and responsive to how you feel, not based on a rigid diet philosophy.
- Eating disorders and complex disordered eating require specialized care, and we refer or collaborate when that level of expertise is needed.
