Dr. Mary Rondeau

Dr. Mary Rondeau

Dr. Mary Rondeau, ND, RH(AHG) is a registered naturopathic doctor, functional medicine specialist and registered herbalist. She co-founded Wholeness Center.  She is passionate about empowering individuals through self-care, self-understanding and learning how to support body, mind and spirit to relieve chronic and mental illness. Dr. Mary specializes in functional medicine for mental health disorders. Dr. Mary’s middle name is adventure; she’s found that what follows adventure is growth.  Personal growth to overcome challenges, to face fears, to prove to oneself that you can do anything you put energy into.  Dr. Mary is excited to share this knowledge in the form of self-care, self-exploration, and community with like-minded individuals in a retreat setting.  Dr. Mary is passionate about nutrition, lifestyle changes and helping patients implement change in an easy to approach way.  Dr. Mary loves to travel and Costa Rica stole her heart. In her spare time, she plans upcoming travel with her two kids and husband, Steve and she loves taking in all that Colorado has to offer.  She is a foodie at heart and will often be found in the kitchen creating new recipes and cooking with her children.

Dr. Matthew Brennecke

Dr. Matthew Brennecke

Dr. Matthew Brennecke is a Naturopathic Doctor in the state of Colorado. He grew up in the suburbs of Seattle, WA, where up until about the age of 5, his life consisted of primarily three things: baseball, Big Wheel, and grilled cheese. When his baseball and Big Wheel aspirations didn’t pan out, he decided to consider other options, such as breakdancing, but first, he had to do some soul searching in many different parts of the country. Regretfully, rhythm has always evaded his grasp, but he has lived all over the place, including Washington, Virginia, Florida, Louisiana, New York, Arizona, and finally, Colorado, where he found his love of the outdoors.  He graduated from Colorado State University with a major in Social Work.  He then moved out east to New York City, where he attended Columbia University earning a Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work, working primarily with severe and persistent mental illness.  After seeing pharmaceutical medication given out like candy, he wondered if there were alternatives and found naturopathic medicine and knew that was the road he wanted to travel.

Dr. Matthew earned a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine & Health Sciences (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ, where he was trained as a primary care physician.  He learned that while medicine can treat disease, it’s the doctor who can treat the patient. While Arizona was a great learning experience for him, he longed to return to the Rocky Mountains, where the contour lines are much closer together on a topographic map, to make his permanent home.

While not practicing medicine, Dr. Matthew can usually be found walking around town or in the mountains hiking, camping, and exploring with his two dogs, Jaxson and Georgie.  He has a genuine fondness of inappropriate jokes and has also upgraded his now occasional grilled cheese to include both gruyere and smoked gouda.

Dr. Suzanne Blaising

Dr. Suzanne Blaising

Dr. Suzanne Blaising is a psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience in the the healing profession. She specializes in relationships, attachment wounds, grief, trauma, depression and anxiety. Suzanne holds a PhD in Clinical Social Work.

She has received numerous comprehensive trainings in psychedelic-assisted therapy, including a certificate from the Psychedelic Training and Research Institute (PRATI), a certification of completion for the MAPS MDMA-Assisted Psychotherapy training for PTSD and certification in EMDR therapy.  Her work as a psychedelic-assisted psychotherapist is dedicated to healing wounds and enhancing connection, to self, other, community, and the world.

Suzanne, a life-long Chicagoan, recently moved to Colorado to pursue her passion of healing. Over the last 20 plus years practicing psychoanalytic psychotherapy, she became increasingly disillusioned with current treatments for mental health. After years of research and training she made the move to Colorado to join Wholeness where she has found a community of compassionate professionals dedicated to not just managing symptoms but true healing.

Suzanne is happiest laughing, hiking, running, perusing art galleries, taking pictures of street art and creating her own art.

Psychedelic assisted retreats complimented with holistic practices have been the source of some of the most transformative experiences in my personal growth, and I’m excited to share this passion and offer support as you move through a week of revelatory and nourishing activities. As a contemplative psychotherapist, I have found great value in drawing from and synthesizing aspects of eastern philosophy and western psychotherapeutic modalities. I hold the view that we all have access to an inner source of inexhaustible clarity, wisdom, and compassion; and have found ketamine to be an effective medicine for quickly allowing us to drop into this space to receive insights and healing. I’d love to hear about any contemplative practices that you find resourcing, and will be offering daily breathwork practices and/or meditations on the beach for those who are interested!
