Whether we are talking about mental health or physical health.

Although it may seem there is a stigma around taking care of yourself mentally…

It doesn’t matter if you’re being treated for asthma or anxiety.

There is no shame in advocating for yourself by seeking care for your mind or body!

When the patients of Dr. Nicole Lewis feel like their diagnosis is overwhelming, or like it is the end of the world, she reminds them of all the benefits of their diagnosis, like:

  • common nutrient deficiencies
  • underlying causes
  • how diet and lifestyle can benefit or worsen these symptoms
  • immediate symptom management

but also…

Don’t get too attached to your diagnosis!”

Your diagnosis is a starting place on the map; it is not the destination. It is a piece of information; a piece of the puzzle.

YOU are not your diagnosis.

Wholeness Center offers a meet and greet option just for those of you who are becoming aware of your symptoms or have received an initial diagnosis that you have questions or concerns about. It is a great way to determine if our providers are a good fit for your current needs.

There are many ways to approach treatment for a mental health condition.

Wholeness Center is unique in that we use a combination of objective laboratory findings AND an in-depth clinical intake to determine the best treatment options available to the patient.

Dr. Mary Rondeau specializes in the “neck down” assessment which includes an in depth look at the biochemistry, nutritional status, and hormone status of the body to help determine contributing factors to common mental health symptoms like anxiety and depression.

Sometimes people can live with their struggles for so long that they can’t see another way of living.

Another tool that is often used for assessment is the QEEG brain map done by Dr. Steve Rondeau.

The brain mapping done at Wholeness can help determine which medication an individual may respond to the best, which supplements to consider and numerous lifestyle considerations that will help the person move to health.

The combination of brain mapping and “neck- down” testing along with our interview truly helps us understand the best individualized treatment recommendations.

A mental health diagnosis is not a “life sentence,” nor is it a badge of shame.

Stephen Thomas MSW, ACC offers ketamine-assisted psychotherapy for clients with anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health and psychospiritual issues. This powerful treatment approach can provide you with a fresh perspective on your problems and illuminate a path towards greater self-knowledge and acceptance.

While diagnostic assessments can provide you and your therapist helpful information for guiding treatment, it is not the full story of who you are.

At Wholeness Center, we approach and partner with you to address your challenges from a holistic perspective. By identifying what symptoms and disruptive patterns get in the way of your authentic self, we can collaborate on a plan to better understand and overcome these struggles.

Please contact the Wholeness Center if you have questions about integrative medicine, and/ or mental health assistance. If you live in the Northern Colorado/ Ft. Collins area and would like to learn more about the innovative programs the Wholeness Center has to offer, please call 970-221-1106 or email
