Anxiety has become a normal state of being for many people.  Our demanding schedules, ever-present technology, and pressures from a variety of sources have placed the majority of us into a state of chronic anxiety.  Sometimes the anxiety attacks seem to come out of nowhere.  Other times, an event can trigger an attack.   Even a small event, unnoticed by others, can bring on a debilitating anxiety attack.

Symptoms from anxiety can include:

  • feelings of  worry
  • tension
  • fear
  • chest pain
  • shortness of breath
  • migraine headaches
  • irritability
  • insomnia
  • fatigue
  • stomach pain
  • nausea
  • shaking / sweating
  • heart palpitations

Causes can be complicated and difficult to pin point or remove.  Often, the symptoms experienced are out of proportion to the trigger that seems to be causing them.  And trying to track down what triggers your anxiety can cause more anxiety creating a cycle!

Relief from anxiety is possible, and our Wholeness Center team is here to support your journey.

Why We’re Different
We go beyond identifying anxiety triggers and trying to avoid them.  Our methods involve strengthening your mind and body so that you are more resilient to anxiety and stress altogether.  We work to help you achieve relief from anxiety with a variety of therapies including deep breathing techniques, biofeedback,  mindfulness, and looking for the root cause of anxiety.  Some atypical causes of anxiety may include food sensitivities, recent infection, nutrient deficiencies or abnormal brain patterns. A few simple laboratory tests can help rule out these as causes for your anxiety.

Is Anxiety Normal?

Stress and anxiety have their place in our lives.  When we need to run or fight in a dangerous situation, our bodies have an amazing system that goes into effect to help us survive an attack.  More acid releases into our stomachs to quickly digest food, leaving more energy for fight/flight.  Our senses sharpen, our mind focuses, our adrenaline boosts, our blood thickens.  It’s an excellent system for momentary, emergency needs.

However, most of us are living our lives in a constant state of stress and anxiety.  This chronic spilling of acid, adrenaline, and other emergency responses can cause chronic anxiety, inflammation, and illness.  It takes a lot of work to get out of these learned patterns and to heal.  But, it can be done, and we are proud to be a part of that healing process for our patients.

Healing from Chronic Anxiety
If you are ready to leave behind your chronic anxiety patterns, we’re here to give you all of the support you need.  Don’t let anxiety continue to rule your life.  You deserve more!  Let’s get you on track to fully live each moment with peace, perspective, and joy.  We understand that living with chronic anxiety is debilitating and we’re here to help you get your life back.  It IS possible.  Call us today for your free consultation to learn more.
